Let Sleeping Dogs Lie is a comedy short film about the winner of the 33rd Annual Woodward County Dog Show, Mitch Thompson, being interviewed by a small TV crew comprised of Dan (cameraman) and Jesse (sound recordist). The film takes on a documentary style similar to that of the Maysles brothers' Grey Gardens (1976), but goes in a much more surreal and darkly comedic direction as Mitch's award-winning dog turns out to be something neither Dan nor Jesse can believe.
